US Weekly’s West Coast bureau chief Ken Baker is the primary target of a $55 million lawsuit claiming he put his nanny on the magazine’s payroll as a reporter, and then tried to seduce her.
Naughty, naughty!
The magazine’s former West Coast new editor, Jill Ishkanian — who filed suit in L.A. yesterday against Ken, Editor-in-Chief Janice Min and publisher Jann Wenner for allegedly damaging her career by accusing her of stealing information from the magazine’s computers — also charges that Ken encouraged reporters to “date” paparazzi to glean info from them.

Finally — someone who sees the humor in Owen Wilson’s attempt to end his life. ABC World News Now anchors Taina Hernandez and Ryan Owens tactfully giggle their way through a segment about the Owen story — which they attribute to Owen’s uncle’s last name being “Hoe.” That, apparently, “struck them as funny.”
Good thing Owen’s mother’s maiden name isn’t “Mynut.” They’d be laughing all the way into the next segment about the latest Iraq casualties.

Larry Birkhead has had a falling out with his sugar mommy, OK! magazine, which just pulled the plug on its first birthday photo shoot with Larry and li’l Dannielynn.
