Phew! I was beginning to worry that the National Enquirer was going legit, but alas… they are back in fine form this week.
A boozing Katie (complete with unflattering pic)? Check.
A penny-pinching Oprah? Check.
Domestic violence/Warring spouses? Check, and check.
Anything related to Jennifer Aniston? Check.
At least six exclamation points to underscore drama? Check.
The only sensational elements missing are an alien lovechild, a housebound 1,000 lb. man and a smirking Matt Lauer saying, “Told you so.”

In a move that likely has GQ staffers giggling at the water cooler and Justin Timberlake scowling even harder over those “spin doctoring” celebrity magazines, GQ published a photo of the SexyBack singer shaving his head — no doubt taken well before Britney Spears’ “Shearsgate” debacle — juxtaposed with a quote referring to an entirely different incident (in which fans believed yet again that he was delivering a veiled message to his ex).

“Shock jock” Don Imus is known for his inflammatory remarks, but recently reached a new low, even for him.

The “Imus In The Morning” host ignited a Michael Richards-like racial uproar on his WFAN and MSNBC show this week when he labeled the Rutgers women’s basketball team “nappy-headed ho’s” after their loss in the NCAA Championship game to Tennessee.
The exchange went like this:
IMUS: “That’s some rough girls from Rutgers. Man, they got tattoos …”
SHOW PRODUCER: “Some hard-core hos.”
IMUS: “That’s some nappy-headed hos there, I’m going to tell you that.”

Out magazine has anointed Anderson Cooper and Jodie Foster as two of America’s 50 most powerful gay people — but it’s not likely that the CNN anchor and the Oscar winner will be thanking the editors.
