In a trend sure to catch on with exterminators, crackheads and Marilyn Manson, designer Marc Jacobs’ boyfriend, Jason Preston, sported a dead mouse brooch to a recent NYC fashion event. (Does this mean my cockroach ring is outdated now?) A witness overheard Jason reveal he couldn’t take it off because “Courtney [Love] gave it to me.”
In response, Richard Gere said he was just happy someone found a way to honor his “little friend.”

Based on what I’ve read (because my invitation got “lost” in the mail), the Marc Jacobs show started a whopping two hours late last night, which led to many guests showing up drunk. This may explain why Mischa Barton and Courtney Love decided to wear their Halloween costumes to the event:
