‘Major Movie Star’ Trailer

After watching this trailer, I am more convinced than ever that we should retire:

1) The phrase, “I think I just threw up in my mouth”;

2) Jessica Simpson’s acting career; and…

3) Steve Guttenberg.

Fabio and George Clooney: Sparks Aren’t the Only Thing Flying

The most compelling drama is often inspired by real life, as Fabio’s recent altercations with birds — of both the feathered and George Clooney variety — have demonstrated.

Which is why Holy Candy and Gallery of the Absurd bring you the sure-to-be-bestselling romance novel, Birds of a Feather. Illustrated by Fourteen and written by Candace Kirby, this is a story in which both birds and tempers soar…!

Magician Fight!

Oh, I sure do love me a good magician fight!

During last week’s live taping of NBC’s supernatural show Phenomenon, “Mind Freak” and judge Criss Angel challenged one of the contestants — who claimed to have been possessed by the spirit of author Raymond Hill — by pulling out an envelope and saying, “I will give you a million dollars of my personal money right now if either one of you can tell me specific details of what’s in here right now.”

“And I’ll kiss your ass if you can float …

Bounty Hunter in Dog House

TV bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman’s highly-rated show has been pulled from the air indefinitely by A&E, after his son leaked to the National Enquirer a private phone conversation in which the reality star repeatedly called his son’s girlfriend the “N” word.

A&E said in a statement:

“In evaluating the circumstances of the last few days, A&E has decided to take `Dog The Bounty Hunter’ off the network’s schedule for the foreseeable future. We hope that Mr. Chapman continues the healing process that he has begun.”

Is A&E really shocked by this…? The mullet …

Jennifer Lopez… Coming to a Movie Store Shelf Near You

bordertown.jpg

Jennifer Lopez hasn’t had the best of months, career-wise. First El Cantante fizzled, then her album tanked and now her next film, Bordertown, is going straight to video — yup, right next to Blonde Ambition on the shelves.

J.Lo plays a reporter probing the murders of female factory workers in Mexico. Co-starring Antonio Banderas and Martin Sheen, the flick was booed at the Berlin International Film Festival, which is always a good sign.

I don’t understand how this movie didn’t become an Oscar contender — it’s inspired by TRUE events! Not just events or …

U Got 2 Not Dance 2 My Songs, Baby, If U Wanna Avoid The UTube Nazi…

Oh, Prince. You make my heart heavy with sadness.

I’m a lifelong fan — not only have I cheered on your tiny purple-clad butt in concert, but I’ve made an ass out of myself for you. Yes, during my Music Appreciation class in college, we were asked to name our favorite song. And while others lied through their teeth with answers such as “Bach’s Organ Concerto in D” and “Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture,” I spoke the truth: “‘Kiss’ by Prince,” I proudly declared.

The professor never called on me again.

But I never harbored any regrets about my bold stance. Not even when I was punished with a B+ in the class. A B+ — for ME, the viola nerd! Until…

What is THIS I hear, Prince…? You are no longer the Prince of Awesome Guitar Licks, but rather the King of Douchebags?

ABC reports:
Holden Lenz, 18 months old, is the pajama-clad star of a 29-second home movie [in which he dances to “Let’s Go Crazy”] shot by his mother in the family’s rural Pennsylvania kitchen and posted last February on the popular video site YouTube.

Twenty eight people, mostly friends and family, had viewed the YouTube video by June, when mom Stephanie Lenz said she received an e-mail from YouTube informing her that her video had been removed from the site at the request of Universal Music Publishing Group, the recording industry’s largest label, and warning her that future copyright infringements on her part could force the Web site to cancel her account.
