There are a few things in life that truly irk me. People who pound on elevator request buttons as though that’s going to make it come faster, for instance. Grocery carts with one bad wheel. Being put on speakerphone without asking. Those who tell me to “smile!”
And then there’s the party of one — in this case, Julia Roberts — who finds it necessary to use an umbrella the size of Kanye West’s ego, rendering it nearly impossible for anyone else to share the sidewalk.
Really, is it too much to ask to use human-sized coverage? Or perhaps wear one of those stylish umbrella hats?
Yeah, I know, I know… I should just let it go and “smile!”

Julia Roberts showed off a photo of her five-month-old son for the first time on Oprah yesterday, saying that: “There’s been a lot of curiosity but there’s not been a picture of him. I thought I would just show everybody.”
Pretty selfish of you to do that, Julia! You should have sold the picture to OK! magazine and donated the money to Candy’s Miu Miu Handbag Fund, er… I mean, to Oprah’s Angel Network. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Julia Roberts — whose look I once coveted so strongly, that I begged my mom for red hair and brown contacts — was honored with the 22nd Annual American Cinematheque Award on Friday night. Julia Roberts gave birth to her third child today, a boy named Henry Daniel Moder.
Henry was born today in Los Angeles, weighing 8.5 lbs. “The Moder family is doing great,” her rep told People.
Julia and husband Danny are already parents to twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, who turned two years old in November.
While the twins are delighted to have another sibling, they are reportedly pissed that their little brother didn’t get a name that makes him sound like he should be playing shuffleboard at Shady …

Pretty mommy Julia Roberts stepped out with her ever-expanding belly — and her ever-growing children, two-year-old Hazel and Phinnaeus (seriously, when did they get so big?) — in Los Angeles.
