Jennifer Aniston reportedly met up with actor Sam Rockwell — who is buddies with Jen’s ex, Vince Vaughn — for drinks during her quick trip through Manhattan this week.

Jen and Sam (sounds disgustingly cute together) — who co-stars with Jen’s ex-husband, Brad Pitt, in the new film The Assassination of Jesse James (which has gotten less-than-stellar reviews) and also starred with his pal Vince in Made — hit the hip Lower East Side restaurant Freeman’s with two other men and another woman on Tuesday night.

Jennifer Aniston likes to set trends, not follow them — as proven by the “Rachel” haircut that I still covet — and this time, she’s going against the current wave of celebrities adopting third world orphans by deciding to adopt a child from the U.S. Jen has reportedly been fiddling with the idea of adoption for some time now and has instructed her lawyers to contact adoption agencies in L.A. on her behalf.
