Life became not-so-simple for Nicole Richie on Friday.
The Simple Life celebutard was treated for dehydration Friday while working on the E! not-really-reality series. Nicole apparently felt “ill,” was examined by an on-set doctor and then taken to a nearby hospital. She received intravenous fluids for 15 minutes and was released.
“Nicole is home resting and will return to work this evening,” her rep said in a statement. “We are proud of the weight that Nicole is gaining and her focus on her health.”

A Chicago development group is suing heiress Nicky Hilton for breach of contract over a delayed hotel renovation project near downtown Chicago.
In a lawsuit filed Monday, the group alleges that Nicky hasn’t kept up her end of an agreement in which she promised to promote the redevelopment project known as Nicky O’s Chicago, a Nicky Hilton Hotel.
Nicky also allegedly contracted out interior design work she was supposed to perform and tried to charge it back to the developer, the lawsuit alleges. The development group also claims Nicky …

Nicole Richie went to dinner with Kathy Hilton — er, I mean Paris Hilton — at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills last night. The two bonded over “how hot” they looked together on the compromising ParisExposed.com footage.
However, Paris has done a fine job of acting indignant over the Web site (those acting classes have come in handy), releasing a statement along with her lawsuit claiming: “I was appalled to learn that people are exploiting my and my sisters’ (sic) private personal belongings for commercial gain.”
