Despite rumors to the contrary this morning, Britney Spears did perform at The House of Blues in San Diego tonight — for a whopping 20 minutes.
The real show, however, was the legions of paparazzi and fans that followed Brit’s bus all the way from L.A. to San Diego, trailing her every stop, start and bowel movement. In fact, photo agency X17 has no fewer than five consecutive blog posts — and counting — devoted to her San Diego journey.

Britney Spears is being tipped as a future Queen of England following Prince William’s split from girlfriend Kate Middleton. The troubled “Toxic” singer is being named as a possible replacement by British bookmakers. Odds of 20-1 are being placed on Britney and the future King getting together, following previous email exchanges between them in 2002 — you know, back when Britney was normal. After viewing the photos of Britney Spears’ umbrella attack on the paparazzi, I felt as though I had gazed upon something I wasn’t meant to see.
