Talk about a parent’s worst nightmare…
Dennis Quaid’s newborn twins are fighting for their lives after being overdosed with way too much Heparin, a blood thinner. Babies usually get 10 units, but a nurse grabbed the medicine (which a technician stored in the wrong place) without looking and mistakenly gave Thomas and Zoe 10,000 units instead — and the babies started to “bleed out.” According to TMZ, the babies, who are in the neo-natal intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai in L.A., are now being given a drug that reverses the effects of Heparin.

Dear god, Shiloh is cute. Almost makes ME want to have a baby. If only they didn’t come with dirty diapers. Or temper tantrums. Or nine months of mandatory sobriety.
Yeah, okay, that last one’s a deal breaker. I’ll just stick to being a crazy cat lady for now. And keeping framed pictures of Shiloh on my mantle.

I woke up in a semi-foul mood because of my overpriced birthday dinner last night at the popular Italian restaurant, Il Sole, on the Sunset Strip — they didn’t even serve hard alcohol! what kind of an establishment is that?! — where I literally got four pieces of ravioli for $30, the bread was hard, and the server spilled water on us.

Because you need a break from Britney news. And I need a break from my bubble gum-flavored Jelly Bellies (I seriously just ate almost an entire bag of them; it’s going to be a long night…).
