It was a pleasant Sunday afternoon and I had taken my cherished 1976 Cadillac DeVille out for a spin on the highway. Zooming down the fast lane, I noticed a wildly swerving pickup truck gaining on me and honking. I was going 75mph, but it wasn’t fast enough for the Speedy Gonzales about to run me off the road so I switched lanes to let the driver pass.
When I glanced over to check out the crazy person, the exact image you see above is what I saw. An angry diabolical granny, the cotton-candy white hair blowing in the wind, a withered weather-beaten fist shaking at me while her pendulous arms quivered like jello. Her mouth was open wide as she furiously screamed “Get the f*ck out of my way!!!!” as bits of spittle flew about in the wind. The image of her seared into my brain with such clarity that I was able to go home and draw her in my sketchbook later that evening.

Rude, speed obsessed drivers. Ugh. Guess what sweethearts, it’s not that everyone else is too slow, it’s that you want to go too damn fast.

OMG, was that you, 14? I am so sorry!
Well, not really me, but it might be in 20 years or so. Love the rude hand gestures, though.
Since my state has recently enacted less restrictive legislation regarding our second amendment rights, anybody could be packing heat in the car.

Don’t you love senior citizens? 14, somehow I am sure it is poetic justice. Did you terrorize your grandparents?
I think I found Granny’s side of the story:

Yikes! that will be me tommorrow, or rather what I’ll be driving to see. (MIL) But I swear, I never shake my wonky arm and cuss at anybody. I might make “suggestions” but, well, some people need help driving.
It’s a good thing granny didn’t have her phone out or she might have thrown it at you!

There is no need for obnoxious road use, or speeding, either, but somehow i can’t help but admire the old girl. Can i grow up and be just like her? (By the way, nice work, Amber.)

Thank you for exposing the other side of the elderly!
In my foolish quest for a grandma replacement, I’ve come across many who look so cuddly and sweet, but are satans spawn in flowered mumu’s!

Hmmm, judging from the perspective, it looks like she was passing you on the right, which means you were in the left lane. Left lane drivers deserve all the fist-shaking and obscenity-screaming that comes their way. Sorry, but it’s true.
