I must confess, I don’t watch much reality TV, with the exceptions of “How Do I Look?” and “The Girls Next Door” (Shut up! Don’t judge me!). However, I may need to add America’s Next Top Model to that line-up because no one brings the crazy quite like Tyra Banks.
On last night’s episode of the show, Tyra apparently had the contestants pose with homeless youth and emotionally professed that she understood what it’s like to be homeless because — get this — she pretended to be homeless for a day on her talk show.
You know, I totally understand what it’s like to be homeless, too! I was once forced to vacate my dorm over winter break, with nowhere to go for a whole day. I’m shocked my story never became a Lifetime Movie of the Week.

and I know what it’s like to be transsexual because my mom gave me the same haircut as my brother when I was six.
I wonder if Tyra masturbates to pictures of herself.

Tyra needs to go away ASAP! Tyra is so unbelievably stupid and NOT high fashion it just amazes me how people can look up to her.
Tyra always says… “and when I was in _____, or when I did ____, or when I was sick I still did _____ perfectly”… and so on.
Tyra needs to STFU and GO AWAY!

Oh man, I thought the same thing. Yes putting on makeup to look homeless and pretending to be really makes you feel the same way and share the emotions. Plus I watch GND. Plus this site is an amazing composite of both sites. Way to go!

I want to be in the audience on Tyra’s show, tell an emotional story about my body issues so she’ll hug me, then shank her.

I bet that Gay Android who styles the show thoroughly chastised them for not portraying enough despair,or looking desperate enough.
Next week they have to embody the concept of Global Warming.
If none of them can do this Tyra will run them ragged with verbal tirades for hours, explaing in minute detail, how and why, they are complete and utter shit. The Gay Android will be probably join in at some point, like all worthless little bullies.
There are easier ways to get teenage girls to cry.
When the contestants fail in a task they should just cut away to footage of their parents, discussing their lewdest sexual encounters in great detail. That would be like watching a geyser made of mucus and tears.
The ultimate Snot Bubble Cry.

This almost makes me wish I hadn’t stopped watching the show two years ago. The cheesy faux “edgy” outrageous shoots always cracked me up. Especially when they went all “Fear Factor” in “Cycle 2.” And Tyra (as much as I loved her in the 90s) is the K-Mart of fashion models.
But I’m with Team Naomi so I’m sure Tyra can mark me down in the “hater” column.

Nice picture of her. I hope Tyra wasn’t insensitive enough to really say that she knows what it’s like to be homeless.

one could only imagine wtf the true stars of the homeless photoshoot were thinking to themselves? tyra is worldclass iconic multipurposeless human being. who the hell came up with glamorizing someone’s misery and misfortune? perhaps next week they can do crack babies or full blown aids. i certainly would be delighted to point that crowd in the right direction.

I know what it’s like to be a cop because some detectives came to my house when it was burglarized. . .
I can empathize with cats because I saw the play. . .
I can be a gynocologist because I was in the room when my wife gave birth . . .
I am so thankful for Tyra because I am gonna update my resume with some fantastic credentials

Tyra has had such a wealth of personal experiences…I always look forward to hearing what she can empathize with next. One of my personal favorites is that she can empathize with fat people, because she spent a WHOLE DAY in a fat suit. Um, okay, yeah. Thanks, Tyra.
