I get that Natalie Portman is supposedly smart–she did go to Harvard, though I think it is BS when stars get credit for going to Yale, Harvard, etc…I mean, if they were already famous before they went to college, I am pretty sure it wasn’t SAT’s that got them in. And it’s not like the Jodie Foster college years, when she dropped out of the limelight and stopped making movies to really get an education–these people barely go to class, and still somehow graduate…anyway…
Scarlett J.? Um, what makes her so brilliant? Because she is not Lohan? I mean, most of these girls barely have high school educations…they had stupid tutors a couple of hours a day on the set of movies. Just because S. Jo runs her mouth about war and politics does NOT make her smart…

I don’t know. There’s no way for me to say “I’m just not that into either of them” without sounding like a bitch. It’s just a “whatever” feeling, like seeing them on a magazine doesn’t thrill me one way or another. They’re so overly-polished with these adopted personas of old-Hollywood, stylish but boring grooming, and “taste” (meaning only taking scripts with lots of staring and British actors in them) it’s just….blah. And they both seemed to have stagnated in the talent pool: not getting any better, not getting any worse. They’re both very lovely girls and much more tasteful than most, though.
As for me, give me Keira Knigthley any day. Love her or hate her, she photographs in a striking and provocative way, does very varied performances, and comes off as Eliza Doolittle at the Ascot while still being rather gorgeous and composed.
