Jessica Alba, who fancies herself an unwilling sex symbol despite willingly appearing in a bikini in 99% of her movies, says she hopes her child doesn’t pursue a career in Hollywood — because she’d prefer that s/he be a “nerd.”
The actress, who is currently in her second trimester with fiancé Cash Warren’s baby, tells MovieHole.net:
”I want my kid to be a nerd. I want him to be really, really smart. I want them to be in the band or orchestra. No, that’s a joke. I keep telling my fiancé, ‘Our kid can’t be cool. It has to be a nerd.’ They’re so much more dynamic.”
Um, so not only does having a decent grade point average make you a nerd, but being in the orchestra makes you a JOKE. Well, all I have to say to that is…

See? Clearly, orchestra members can be cool, too.

God, every quote I read from Alba makes me hate her more and more! She seems so superficial and irrelevant. I feel bad for her kid, there’s no way her child will be intellectual because 1.
