I’m still on temporary sabbatical working on my new mystery website, but I missed posting and thought I’d update with some new paintings. NO, these aren’t portraits of Britney Spears or Tom Cruise, but I guess they could be if you look at them right wrong way. And no, I’m not planning on ceasing to paint celebrity gossip and pop-culture…I just wanted to post something a little different. These paintings were created without intent of outcome and are meant to be viewed multi-dimensionally and from all 4 sides. This is the sort of work I do to balance out the fetid flotsam of celebrity gossip. Back soon. Medium: oil, ink, stain, clay, enamel, tar on paper.

Beautiful work - truly multidimensional. Are any of them for sale?

One only has to apply the paranoic critical method on these images to decipher the surrealist erotiscism and multiple imagery within

Love it. I’m sure it feels good to produce something more free and flowing like this, after doing a lot of the celebrity stuff.

These are beautiful and interesting, 14. It’s a lot of fun to just begin with a movement and watch something emerge out of the chaos, seemingly on its own. Very nice work.
I’m excited to see this new website you’re cooking up.

And, I am really sorry. I am so very sorry, but I also see ……….ahem
a vagina and a buttcrack.
Sorry!!!!!

gorgeous! Your painterly and drafts skills (not to mention a wicked wit) are always evident in your “pop” art but here they glow on their own. Makes me want to do more drawing… lovely!

Thanks for liking these paintings as they represent the work closest to my purpose for living. I’ll be working on more of these throughout the year and when I have enough in the series, I’ll offer them for sale. I basically have to go into a trance in order to paint them and need free time in order to do so. Free time is rare in my current line of work as an illustrator, but I’ll make it happen. Thank you!!

I immediately saw some O’keefe in there if you know what I mean. These seem like the works of someone just finished doing the deed. Beautiful and sensual but still erotic. Is that wierd that I’m seeing this? Freud would have a field day with me

Oh these are really good!
Keep on keeping on!
I’d like to see #1 and #4 viewed horizontally side by side…they seem to be somewhat reflective and would compliment themselves by such a display.
Nice colorwork and texture on #2 and #3. They also would form a very sweet diptych.
Why aren’t you posting these in a bigger format so we can really get into the detail? There’s so much to visually explore….sigh.
Thanks for letting us see what you’ve been working on. I’ve been wondering about you!
