Amy Winehouse Back to Black, But Not to Rehab

My favorite crackhead — a position formerly held by longtime Queen of Crackheads, Courtney Love — Amy Winehouse, cleaned up relatively nicely to go to the doctor today as part of her “ongoing treatment.” Rumors had been circulating earlier that she’d re-entered rehab, but alas… we all know what she said to that. (I won’t subject you to that overused lyric. No, no, no, I won’t.)

This all comes on the heels of a video that was posted on The Sun (Brits have the BEST gossip!), in which Amy is seen smoking crack and accusing a guest of stealing her kitten: “If I was that cat I’d leave on my own accord — I’d call a cab. It ain’t right. This ain’t Toys R Us. They took my cat.”

Ten bucks says it’s in Nicolas Cage’s jacket.

Why do we care? In the face of Ledger, who probably made at least one movie (whether it be “10 Things I Hate About You” or “The Patriot” or “Brokeback” or “Candy”) that really, really touched you, why do we care about this self-indulgent, one-hit wonder who doesn’t care about anyone but herself, being bulimic. and drugs? “Ooh, beehive.” Who cares.

hey, hey-amy winehouse is a talented artist too, and its just as sad to see her downward spiral.
heath ledger was a shock comparatively, and very sad.
But getting angry about it isn’t going to change anything or change what people talk about.

Why would you say that you aren’t going to subject us to the lyric and then do it anyways?

    Thats just plain mean.

I think Amy deserves our sympathy. The bottom line in all this is that money cannot buy peace and harmony. As Christians we should be grateful for the teachings and wisdom of God which is greater than all the gold in the world.
