Nicole Richie Has a Baby Girl

Many have probably already heard this news, but I had more important things to do last night — like sip almond tequila while watching that God-awful Cashmere Mafia (which makes a FABULOUS drinking game, by the way… drink every time there’s a SATC rip-off. You’ll be toasty in no time!). Nonetheless, I thought I’d let you know that Nicole Richie had a baby girl last evening.  (And neither of the above babies is her.  Old pic.)   Harlow Winter Kate Madden weighed 6 lbs., 7 oz. Or fifty percent of Nicole’s body weight.

“We are very blessed she’s healthy and beautiful, and so good already,” baby daddy Joel Madden told People. “We are very happy.”

Congrats, guys! I’m sure your nanny will make a wonderful mother.

Is it so wrong that I can’t really be happy for
celebutards when they procreate???? Am I bitter?
Do I need therapy? F it. I hope they choose a
    good nanny.

i’m with you, happy. the thought of someone as useless as nicole richie getting bombarded with expensive baby gifts from “fans” (of what?) around the world irritates me to no end. she and joel dated for what, three months before she got pregnant? really smart. i give their relationship three more months. poor kid.

Let’s hope she stays home more than Brit Brit.

the name makes me laugh - my sister and I had ponies growing up - Winter and Harlow - now how weird is that.
We later had each had one named Sorry and Early - how long before some celeb uses those names?

Who cares?….and yeah, what martini lover said.

  6. Mateo

Candy. Come to Hawaii. Drinks are on me…

They’ve been together for a whole year?
Wow, in Hollywood, that’s like eight.
    Good luck, God bless.

  8. Best offer I’ve gotten in years, Mateo! Mahalo.

I actually think she’ll be a good mom. Pregnancy seems to have mellowed her/fed her and all the baby gifts she received were donated to charity. She and Joel seem actually happy together because they both wanted this child so much. So all the best to them.

(And nobody could be worse than Brit)
