Just when Kat(i)e Holmes bedazzles me with her impossibly shiny hair, she goes and freaks me out again…
In talking with People at a Glamour luncheon for V-Day’s anniversary, Katie said (with a freakishly large smile, no doubt) that one-year-old Suri is a, um, “very strong woman.”
Say wha –?
That’s how you describe a woman who’s about to star in the Vagina Monologues. Or John Travolta. Not someone whose day revolves around Dora the Explorer. Well, okay, all the above could be used to describe Travolta, but you see what I’m getting at.
“I’m very proud of her,” Kat(i) added while oiling the bolt in her joint. “She’s actually teaching me a lot – probably more than I’m teaching her. She’s very smart and strong. And really magical.”
For those who don’t have a Scientology dictionary alongside their Guide to Xenu and Intergalactic Walruses, Holy Candy has the entire list of words programmed into their missionaries: amazing; strong; wonderful; magical; lucky; extraordinary; such a gift!

Been biting my lip because I have no problem with a mama loving her baby!
BUT!
that TODDLER isn’t even a little kid yet!
When she has been raised to be an intellegent, compassionate, mature individual and she exhibits these traits- THEN you can call her a “strong woman.”
right now she’s still a “work in progress” and deserves guidance not just praise.
although, she is adorable!

idk, i can kinda agree with katie…when
my daughter was 2 her babysitter put her
in a scalding hot bath and burned her
severly…luckily she survived, and she was
stronger than me. i cried a lot during her
pain and she would always say,”dont cry mommy,
im ok..see” so i sort of know what katie means.
then again, my daughter had a reason to be strong…

what’s weird is that everything she says sounds rehearsed, like her handlers gave her lines beforehand. so freaky.

It was weird, cause the part of Katie’s quote that was left out was when towards the end of the interview her voice changed into a loud baritone and she uttered something along the lines of “you will be assimilated - resistance is FUTILE”

Katie thinks ’strong woman’= silent accessory… which is why she and Suri teach each other so much.

c’est moi, it’s not the “strong” part that seems all wrong… it’s the “woman” part.
