Jessica Simpson went to the Dallas Cowboys game yesterday to cheer on new boyfriend, QB Tony Romo — and my, oh my, what a good luck charm she was! Tony had the worst game of his life, throwing three interceptions and fumbling the ball twice as his heavily favored Cowboys lost to the Philadelphia Eagles. As commentator Joe Buck noted, “It’s never easy to play in front of your girlfriend.”
Especially when she’s embarrassing you with a tarted-up jersey. Anyone knows a real fan never wears pink. Regardless, as a Green Bay Packers fan (my dad grew up in Pennsylvania, as did my whole family, so it’s only natural he would encourage us to root for a Wisconsin team), I sure hope she keeps going to the Cowboys’ games.
And, no, I don’t wear a pink Favre jersey. But I have worn a cheesehead.
