Sorry for the late start, guys. I was out having way too much fun with 14 at Gallery of the Absurd last night, guzzling Pinot Noir and battling a sushi restaurant where we purchased what we thought was a $25 bottle of sake — that turned out to be $25/glass and $170/bottle. *GULP* Thanks to our tears persuasive ways, we ended up getting a deal on the bottle, as well as a $170 axe in the head this morning.
But, as a wise person once said (me, a couple seconds ago), the gossip must go on…
Katie Holmes talked to InStyle about her one-year marriage to Tom Cruise, saying:
KATIE: “Tom likes me in a suit and a mini every now and then. I like it when he likes it. It makes me blush.”
CANDY: I’m not surprised he likes you in a suit.
KATIE: “He’ll say, ‘You look good. I hope security’s going with you.’ Now that gives me attitude.”
CANDY: Being surrounded by security “handlers” all the time would give me attitude, too.
KATIE: We would “love to” have more kids, but “I’m in no particular rush.”
CANDY: Yes, you can’t rush immaculate conceptions. Or so my mom tells me.
KATIE: “When you fall in love, it’s as though time stops. It’s all-encompassing. I try every day to let him know how much I love him. It gets better and better. It has made my life.”
CANDY: Sounds like you’ve been spending too much time in the Hallmark store.
