Larry King took an unwanted trip stroll down memory lane in an interview with Brad Pitt (re: his great New Orleans reconstruction project) today, when he said, “When you’re getting emotionally involved with someone you’re working with…” And Brad quickly interjected, “Well, that came after, Larry. That came after.”
Um, defensive much?
Once they got past that awkward moment, Brad revealed that he and Angelina don’t fight, noting that: “She is a woman of strong opinion, and very specific beliefs and a great voice. I respect it. A great intelligence.”
Translation: I’m pussy-whipped.
While some are annoyed that Larry tried to dredge up the water-under-the-bridge Aniston debacle, it’s important to note that poor Larry probably thinks that just happened last month. Hell, after the interview, Larry was heard asking his staff, “Get me Kat Hepburn on the phone, would ya? She’ll make a great interview for our holiday special…”

At first was all for Brad Pitt and his rebuilding New Orleans gig but then after hearing him refer to it as part art and part social disobedience (or some such twaddle) I realized this is more about Brad Pitt showing us and his fellow celebs that he is a good person and has some purpose. I still think he is doing a good thing but am not so sure about his motivation - this having to show it off for us all to notice. Can celebs do anything without having to call the media? What about doing good for goods sake? Not because it gets you kudos. And interviews.

I think Brad’s heart is in the right place, but the guy’s just dumb as rocks. He reminds me of Sylvester Stallone who always tries to sound smart by using big words, but uses them all wrong and ends up looking even more stupid!

Hmmm. Can’t entirely disagree with the
above comments, but…
Say what you will about Brangelina,
they do put their celebrity to good use
(in addition to other publicity-seeking
behaviors, I admit).
They really do put their money where
their mouths are (and, granted, they’ve
got a lot of money to put, and beautiful
mouths).
I like it when a superstar speaks with no
notes, no teleprompter. Yeah, it’s
unpolished, but it’s real.
And if Brangelina can bring New Orleans
to the attention of everyone, it’s a
good thing.
I wonder: how many people realize that
New Orleans citizens who have been
living in late-arriving FEMA trailers
(albeit formaldehyde-filled)
are being kicked out of even these
lousy living places with nowhere else
to go?
And Candy: love your remarks about the
crypt-keeper, Larry King. Don’tcha
wonder what they inject to get him
animated (er, maybe Re-Animated, bwaaahaha.
O.K., if you haven’t seen the movie, this
won’t be funny)?
Or maybe he’s an animatronic unit (like
those designed by Disney “imagineers”) who
is simply wound up with a key before
every show.
As always, YIKES.

I actually feel sorry for Larry King.
It reminds me of the days when
Ronald Reagan was losing it.

It is a real estate investment and an ego trip for the idiot and Jenn I so agree whatever it takes to keep them out of the movies because they both bomb!
And somebody needs to ask Gwyneth why Brad wears that stupid hat, because he never bathes or shampoos, that was one of her major complaints about the boy, he is filthy trash!

I thought Brad was okay on Larry King. But I told him that he should stay home with the kids so I can go shop. He said no, so I threw wine in his face.
