What I want to know is: How can I score an invite to a wedding like this?
I always get stuck fake-smiling at the kinds of receptions where the couple decides to use the first dance as an opportunity to show off their freshly-learned, awkwardly choreographed ballroom dance moves, compounded with no-shots-allowed-bars and the local all-dad band that covers songs such as Genesis’ “I Can’t Dance” or, better yet, “La Vida Loca.” (Definitely need tequila shots in order to dance to either of those songs.)
Thanks to Rashid for the heads up.

Fabulous!! Here in western PA we
get stuck with bad polka music (is
there any other kind?) and the
Hokey-Pokey.

Are you all sure that Candy isn’t actually the bride in this video??? Something tells me that she can get wild like this. And the groom, he’s a super freak too. Ah, the legacy of Sir Mix Alot!!!

Well, that’s cute, but …. she hasn’t got a big butt….
I went to a wedding a couple years ago where they played a song from South Park, “Simultaneous” (which is basically a song about group sex) and danced to that. I found out later that they were an “open marriage” couple and the bridesmaid the groom was dancing with was one of their intimate friends. So that was pretty entertaining, anyway…

I bet those two met at a nightclub and danced to that song together before they even knew each other’s names. Still pretty creative though.

And to think some people take ballroom dancing lessons before their wedding!

My wedding was just two weeks ago, and I wish I have had the gut to do this dance instead of the awkward, (NOT AT ALL) rehearsed wedding dance.
On the other hand - my grandmother could have gotten a heart attack!

That was hilarious! It would have been even better if they added their own rendition
of MJ’s ‘Thriller’ at the end.
Hahaha!
