Britney Spears already shot the video for “Piece of Me,” however, it must be about as good as the “Gimme More” video because MTV is holding a contest for fans — all 10 of them — to make their own video using clips of MTV’s footage of the pop singer over the years. A clip of the winning video will be played on TRL.
You know things are rough when the record label starts asking fans to do the performer’s work. Next they’ll be asking the winner to promote the video on Regis & Kelly and Letterman… and perform “Piece of Me” at the Grammys…
It’s Britney’s Fan, bitch! (I think they should get the Girl in Pink to do it.)
