Ellen Pompeo and music exec Chris Ivery have gotten hitched, pledging themselves to each other and a life with the ol’ ball ‘n’ chain, reports Us Weekly.
The pair kept it simple, wedding in a ceremony at New York’s City Hall, where Mayor Michael Bloomberg — a Massachusetts native like Ellen — served as their witness.
After the wedding, Ellen confessed to Chris that she’s actually pregnant with Mayor Bloomberg’s love child! Just at that moment, the elevator doors opened — where who else but Bloomberg was standing! [UNCOMFORTABLE PAUSE] Chris glared at Bloomberg before joining him in the elevator, where the three of them stared straight ahead at the doors, none of them looking at each other. Once Bloomberg finally got off, Chris whispered sexily, “I forgive you for sleeping with McMayor.” Ellen turned to him with tears in her eyes and said, “Seriously? SERIOUSLY?” before storming off in search of Christina. “What the hell –?” Chris muttered to himself. “That chick is WACK! She should be over the moon to have a ridiculously forgiving, super-hot man like me…”
Whoops! Sorry — that’s what McDreamy should be saying on Grey’s Anatomy. Not the actual series of events at Ellen’s wedding. Holy Candy apologizes for any confusion this error may have caused. (Especially considering you’re probably already confused enough by the pairing of Izzy and George.)
