Wait — I thought marriage WAS the curse! (Ba-da-bum! Thanks, I’ll be here all night.)
Just when you thought Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon had a lock on Most Romantic Wedding of 2007, along comes a story that not only blows theirs out of the water — but also makes you feel like falling in love all over again.
An Indian man known as Mr. Selvakumar has married a female dog, believing the union will help him atone for stoning two other dogs to death… *SOB*…

Selvakumar killed the dogs 15 years ago when he found them humping and hung them from a tree. Ever since the doggie murders, he believes he’s been cursed, suffering paralysis and a loss of hearing. (Hear that, Vick? No…? Good. And the curse begins.)
A relative of the groom told the BBC:
“On the advice of an astrologer and others, he decided to marry a bitch to get cured. Then we arranged Selvakumar’s marriage with a bitch.”
And there you have it.
For those wondering about the latest in bitchy bridal trends, the “bride” — named Selvi — wore an orange sari with a flower garland and was fed a bun to celebrate. Yum!
No word on whether the marriage was consummated, doggy-style.
