There are two distinct camps of Van Halen fans: those that love the David Lee Roth years; and the smaller, but equally passionate group of fans of the Sammy Hagar era.
I belong to the latter camp. Which has led to many, many heated debates with my older brother, but alas… I can’t help but love a man who sang an ode to blue balls. I just can’t.
And this picture only deepens my love for the man, who recently celebrated his 60th birthday by — how else? — chugging his very own brand of tequila, Cabo Wabo, straight from the bottle. Mmmm… I love me some Cabo Wabo Tequila. Not only is it smooth, but it’s a ton of fun to say. Cabo Wabo, Cabo Wabo…
