High School Musical star and apparent amateur nude model, Vanessa Hudgens, has (surprise, surprise) apologized to her fans for her now-public birthday suit pictures.
“I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me,” ‘Nessa said in a statement. “I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends.”
A rep for the 18-year-old lamented that: “This was a photo which was taken privately. It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that this has become public.”
Although there were rumors that Vanessa had been released from her Disney contract and already replaced by an actress from The Cheetah Girls (Who?! I am so out of the loop), most reports maintain that she’s still negotiating to star in High School Musical 3.
If Disney deems that inappropriate for her, there are many remaining Disney projects that may better suit Vanessa, including: Beauty and the Breasts; Confessions of a Naked Teenage Drama Queen; and Lilo & Snatch.
*SIGH* Whatever happened to just exchanging senior class pictures?

Walt Disney was a Nazi Sympathizer and even attended Nazi meetings back in the 30’s…so I’d say that Vanessa has a much cleaner reputation than he does, thus…he hasn’t rolled on bit in his grave over this.
As far as Vanessa pose, it is not pornographic…as these are not gynecological shots ala Hustler Magazine…and there is no sex in them. This is not unlike a person skinny dipping at the beach, or the non sexual pose of Michelangelo’s David.
The point is…if the kid from Harry Potter got away with doing the same thing (full frontal nudity) for a live stage play–night after night, and doing nudity in publicity stills for that same play, all for intentional public dissemination, in the latter case…then why should Vanessa be held to a higher moral standard for doing far less…in a picture that was meant to be private???!!!

I’m sure Daniel Radcliffe got permission before doing that play. Also Harry Potter is much edgier than High School Musical, where they barely even kiss, so a nude Daniel Radcliffe doesn’t affect the Harry Potter brand whereas a nude Vanessa does. Not to mention Daniel did it for his “art” and Vanessa did it for her boyfriend’s maturbatory pleasure.
Walt Disney required his actresses like Annette Funicello to be fully covered at all times so, yeah, I would guess he’s rolling over in his grave right now.

We ask for the public’s understanding in this respect, and share Ms. Hudgens regrets that this matter was unfortunately made public. Vanessa Hudgens is deeply sorry that her actions may have caused any of her fans disappointment…and will work hard to earn back their trust, love and respect.
In the spirit of forgiveness, the Disney Corporation stands by Ms. Hudgens and her family at this difficult time…and ask the public to except our shared and heartfelt apologies.

Strangely though, if she did leak the picture(s)…why not leak something more graphic…and why the apology??? None of this makes any sense, unless perhaps, she was and is being blackmailed or something. If that is the case, know wonder why she admitted that it’s her in the pictures…and could be the reason why she is not threatening to sue certain web sites yet or the distributor of the pictures. It makes me wonder if the FBI is investigating this situation in secret. And have you noticed how strangely quiet Disney has been??? I haven’t heard one statement out of them, as if they have been told not to talk by the authorities.
Even the mainstream press has been strangely quiet about this story…and have failed to even ask and or investigate who the source of the picture(s) is and why they were leaked and distributed…seemingly, as if in cooperation with the FBI and other authorities???
Something is up here???!!!

My main focus is on why Vannessa hasn’t announced a lawsuit or lawsuits against the leaker(s) or even asked a court to put an injunction in effect to stop the distribution of these picture(s)???
None of this is making any sense, and nobody in the press is asking the hard questions here, not even TMZ. Questions like??? Well, who is the leaker(s) of these photos…and do they lawfully possess them??? Is this kiddie porn, and why hasn’t Disney commented yet??? I haven’t even heard a “No comment” statement by Disney being reported by the press…or even a–”Disney hasn’t returned our calls”, from reporters…which is the norm in situations like this???
