Merv Griffin, the entertainer turned impresario who parlayed his Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune game shows into an empire, has died of prostate cancer. He was 82.
Merv is survived by a son, Vanna White’s mind-bogglingly eternal enthusiasm for turning letters, and more money than I will see in five lifetimes.

I went to his show once, but he wouldn’t let me sit in the audience because he had a ban on kids under the age of 16 in attendance, whether they were with parents or not.
BTW…about the gay thing…there are alot of men and women out there that are married to a staright person, that are actually gay, or at least have straight non married relationships. Some switch teams later on in life, and or, use their straight relationships as cover (beards) for their homosexuality. Either way, many of these individuals have kids. Look at Anthony Perkins for instance.

My friend M had a friend with 6 brothers and sisters. After the last kid was out of the house the dad came out. It happens all the time.
