Who Did It Better: Divorce
Shanna Moakler and Travis Barker valiantly kept themselves in the press — or, at least, on TMZ and a few select blogs — with clever tactics, such as Shanna’s divorce party and multiple “attempts” at reconciliation, but in the end, Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin’s seven-year battle remains the King of Nasty Hollywood Divorces, capped off by Alec’s sweet voice-mail ode to his daughter.
Not to mention, the world actually cares about Kim and Alec. Let’s face it: the only time Shanna and Travis are even associated with the A-list, well… this may have been the only time they’ve been associated with the A-list.
Who Did It Better: Bad Weave
John Travolta selflessly sacrificed his hair to Xenu during an anti-psychiatry Voodoo ritual, so nobody can fault him for looking for outside “help.” 25-year-old Beyonce, however, has no need to go this route yet. Unless Jennifer Hudson instinctively ripped her hair out when Beyonce tried to abscond with her Oscar. Ooohhh… yes, let’s say Beyonce lost her hair during a catfight. Everybody hearts a catfight.
