Former American Idol runner-up and tear-inducing inspiration to millions of crazies, er… Claymates…, Clay Aiken, was reportedly involved in an “airplane disturbance” with another passenger while headed to Tulsa International Airport this past Saturday.
Reports claim that Clay rested his foot on a woman’s armrest, at which point an argument ensued — and the woman gave him a “minor shove.” The two were then held until FBI agents arrived to interview them.
Holy Candy suspects the woman has already entered the Witness Protection Program, as thousands of Claymates invariably surrounded her house prepared to beat her down with their copies of “Measure of a Man,” while holding signs that declare “I’ve Been Claymazed!” and burning effigies of Ruben Studdard and Kelly Clarkson.

These Claymates are SERIOUS! I have 2 friends that are, and you would not believe how their lives revolve around Clay, and they talk about him like he’s a family member. It’s a little scary.

Claymates scare me! It’s one thing to appreciate his music, it’s another to think he walks on water and attack anyone who doesn’t think so. Egads.
