Have you noticed that Shia Lebeouf looks just like a young Dave Gahan, lead singer of Depeche Mode??? They should cast him in a bio pic about Depeche Mode. There is some real interesting stuff there. I’ve heard a rumor that Martin Gore’s sister comitted suicide when they were young, prompting him to write Blasphemous Rumors. Maybe this led to his dark “Goth” persona and his nude obsession. That, and his equally dark lyrics and music.
As for his part, Dave Gahan became a drug addict who died twice…on two separate occasions and was revived each time!!! He says he only saw blackness…not the white light. It really freaked him out and caused him to straighten up. Plus, one of the members of the group suffers from Panick Stress disorder…and we all know about Alan Wilder and Vince Clark quiting the Depeche Mode after heated disputes. But that’s not the end of this story…Gore has been going through a heated divorce with his wife, prompting him to write the song Precious for his kids, begging them for forgiveness, in respect to himself and their mom. This guy is deep!!!
Anyway…Lebeouf looks just like Gahan. If somebody told me that’s his dad, I’d be forced to believe it. Here’s hoping somebody comes up with a good script…it would make a great movie…and really set Lebeouf apart from his peers…with a real grown-up role!!!
