Two of Leonardo DiCaprio’s bodyguards were arrested yesterday by Israeli police after getting into a fight near the Western Wall in Jerusalem as Leo and Israeli girlfriend Bar Refaeli visited Judaism’s holiest site.
Leo and Bar were taking a private tour of the Western Wall tunnels, Reuters reports, and photographers waited outside the tunnels for the couple, whose visit has stirred up a media frenzy in Israel. “Two of [DiCaprio’s] security guards were arrested by police after being involved in a fight that broke out,” said a police spokesman. “They are being questioned.”
In spite of this li’l “speed-bump,” things are obviously heating up between the Oscar-nominated star and the Israeli catwalker. It was only a month ago that Leo introduced Bar to his mother, and now he’s making a pit stop in Israel (not a particularly convenient one from L.A.) to meet her parents.
Ah, yes, time to Meet the Parents. Here’s hoping Leo’s experience doesn’t include any toilet-using cats or urns containing Grandma Refaeli’s ashes…
Update: Turns out, the bodyguards were just taken in for questioning, while restraining orders were issued against the paparazzi.
