In the wake of Anna Nicole Smith’s untimely death, some outlets are taking a poignant — and revealing? — look back at when her mother, Virgie Arthur, made a very public plea to her daughter this past November, urging Anna to start a new life away from drugs.
On a November episode of “The Dr. Keith Ablow Show” Arthur said, “Vickie Lynn, please, you have a family baby … we’re still here for you. You don’t have to have drugs, you’ve got a beautiful baby girl now. You need to start life over, you need to be a great mom and live life now.”
Though the cause of Anna’s death is as yet unknown, her mother told Ablow she was always concerned about her daughter’s drug habits, “I’m disappointed that she got mixed up in drugs and the wrong people … she lives on drugs now,” and added she did not believe Howard K. Stern was the father of Smith’s child, Dannielynn.
Virgie, who didn’t trust Howard K.’s intentions, also made a chilling prophecy in October on Nancy Grace’s CNN show:
“If Howard Stern marries her and she ends up dead, then who does the money go [to]? Danny’s not there.”
Poor little Dannielynn is here, however. Here’s hoping they determine Larry Birkhead is the real father (he is still pressing for the long-awaited paternity test, by the way) — and she’s able to lead a happy, love-filled life in spite of the sadness surrounding her first months on this earth.

Were they actually (legally) married? I thought it was a committment ceremony but not actually a legal marriage. Anyone know if Howard K Stern’s really her husband/widower?

That poor little baby needs to be adopted by people not associated with the entertainment industry. A condition of the adoption should be that the parents are forbidden from giving interviews or discussing the child. This is the only shot this little girl has at a “normal” life…Well, as normal as it can be for someone who’s half-brother died 3 days after she was born, who’s mother died when she was five months old, etc., etc., etc….

I thought it was just a commitment ceremony too, Jennifer. But I keep reading articles that call him her husband?

I am sickened and enraged how her son and then she can be killed for her money. Her beloved son, and heir to her millions, died in very suspicious circumstances in September. Howard K. Stern, her creepy jewish lawyer boyfriend, arranged his own marriage to Nicole two weeks later. In the middle of October Nicole’s mother went on CNN to say she blamed Stern for her grandson’s death and warned her daughter she might be next:

Anna reacted angrily:

I know how she is thinking there completely. I had a jewish friend who turned me against my family, the people who actually cared for me.
I saw this on the news. Poor white girl was surrounded by jews - lawyers, make up artists, porn barons, all the people she trusted. Hustled away and killed for her money. It was no more a sophisticated crime as that - killed for her money like a cheap street robbery. You can take the jew out of the ghetto but you can’t take the ghetto out of the jew. Stay away from the ghetto.
