In the latest issue of Television Week, the right-leaning FOX “News” (in quotes because their reporting is even more biased than mine) ran a two-page ad with the obnoxious headline: “MEET THE PARIS HILTON OF TELEVISION NEWS.” While Anderson Cooper isn’t pictured or named, there’s a photo of a slim, grey-haired man in a suit.
Hmmm.
The below-the-belt ad also claims that “Anderson” — aka the Paris Hilton of news anchors — is “style over substance, a “media darling” and that “he still gets beat EVERY NIGHT BY … Greta Van Susteren.”
Hmmm.
The spat erupted last week when Anderson took a thinly-veiled swipe at FOX News for hyping Insight magazine’s inaccurate story that Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama had attended a radical Islamic school as a child in Indonesia. “Others are reporting the heat. We are sticking to the facts,” Anderson declared.
Here’s another fact: Anderson is still prettier than Greta. Even after the plastic surgery. So there. [Source]

Fox News is the ONLY news that shows any other side of the news besides the “so-far-to-the-left- that-one-foot-is-in-Moscow” drive-by alphabet news shows–ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN (Clinton News Network), etc. Because Fox also presents a conservative viewpoint, and consistently has higher ratings than them, the alphabet networks are rabid at Fox.

Fox is the only show that’s pure opinion and doesn’t even bother to check their facts if the “facts” support their conservative viewpoints. Oh, and they may have higher ratings but CNN still wins where it matters-$$$. CNN gets A LOT more ad revenue because their viewers are more educated and have more money than Fox’s.

I love FOX - watch it all the time and I detest CNN. Anderson Cooper is the most condescending “news man” on TV. Note the Angelina kiss-up interview. He was good with Katrina, but that’s all I can give him. I hope FOX continues to give him Hell.

I agree, Julie; Anderson IS prettier than Greta! His faux “newsreporting” and intellect can’t hold a candle to Greta, though. CNN (the Clinton News Network) has such a socialist, anti-American agenda (not newsreporting, but outright bias), it’s frightening.
