In a revealing new interview with Esquire magazine, CBS anchor Katie Couric makes it clear that she reads her own press (good and bad) — and, unfortunately for Esquire, she remembers it. “There are a lot of circling vultures that will eat you alive,” she says. “You guys even take a shot at me. You have something in the November issue, something about how since I’ve become an anchor, you don’t know me anymore. You don’t know me anymore? Bite me.”
Sassy! Maybe it’s not that they don’t know you, Katie; they just didn’t recognize you after you participated in the Photoshop Diet Program.

She needs to develop a thicker skin and not let them know it gets to her.

I’ve never liked her, still don’t like her. I don’t understand why she thinks she’s so great, I really don’t. I think she’s having troubles dealing with the fact that she isn’t doing as well as everyone said she should…
Try to learn to handle things gracefully, dear. Saying bite me is rather unprofessional.
