… turned Dawson’s Creek reunion (of sorts)! How unexpected.

So who was on TomKat’s guest list? Steven Spielberg, Orlando Bloom, Orlando’s reported honey and Tom’s ex, Penelope Cruz (!), Larry King and… wait for it… James Van Der Beek (!!!) were among the stars who attended Tom Cruise and Kat(i)e Holmes‘ post-wedding party at the Beverly Hills home of Tom’s producing partner on Saturday night.

Yada, yada, yada… I’m just so pleased to hear that Xenu took a break from nuking people in volcanoes and allowed one of Kat(i)e’s Dawson’s Creek buddies to attend the bash. I wonder if Kat(i)e and James forced the DJ to play “I Don’t Want To Wait” and reminisced about having to deliver such angst-filled dialogue as:

JOEY: So the friendship? You don’t think we’re friends anymore?

DAWSON: I don’t know. Are we more? Are we less? All I know is it’s just not the way it used to be. Nothing is anymore.

JOEY: It’s called social evolution, Dawson. What’s strong enough flourishes and what doesn’t we look at behind glass cases in science museums.

DAWSON: You and I? Are we museum bound?

Ah, good times.
