Record producer and all-around ass Simon Cowell plans to harness some of Kate Moss‘ “star quality” by signing her up for a record deal. The American Idol judge isn’t concerned about the supermodel’s singing skills — he just wants to be part of “Team Moss.” He says, “I would like to offer Kate Moss a recording contract, whether she can sing or not. The thing about Kate is that she’s a star: it’s the ‘Kate factor.’ People attach themselves to her and instantly become interesting.”
Which is likely the very same thing Paris Hilton’s music producers said before launching her computer-generated earsore, which was an instant tanker. Smart move, Simon!
