Brad Pitt has finally discovered what many of us have known our whole lives: Most of the world hates Americans. While filming in Amsterdam — a pot-happy city that generally loves everyone — Brad was out late biking one night when he came face to face with a group of anti-American drunken men that wanted to kick his hungry bum.
He said, “I get a bike wherever I go and I went for a midnight ride around Amsterdam. There were some guys coming out of a bar having a good time. I said, ‘Excuse me,’ and swerved out of the way and they started screaming, ‘You fuc*ing American. We’ll fuc*ing kill you.’ I’d never come face to face with that before, that turn in the way we are perceived in other countries.”
Or they’d just lost two hours of their lives watching Meet Joe Black.
